I have played bassoon and contra-bassoon professionally for15 years, and have settled in the state of Florida. I originally learned bassoon and reed making from David Brundage, principle chair of the Pershing’s Own Army Band in Washington D.C.. I attended West Virginia University and studied with Dr. Terry Ewell, and graduated with a Bachelors in Music Performance. I then did graduate work at Kent State University with David DeBolt, and earned my Masters in Music Performance. Over the years I have played in several professional symphony orchestras, opera companies, and played as a contracted musician with pick up orchestras for tours that lasted in the state of Florida.
I currently live in North Port, Florida, and work as a marketing director by day, and teach and perform in my spare time. |
