I am a professor emeritus from the University of Idaho, Lionel Hampton School of Music, Moscow, Idaho. I now reside in McCall, Idaho, where I am president of the local McCall Music Society. Since 1982, I have served as Bassoon Editor of the publication "The Double Reed" of the International Double Reed Society (IDRS). Before retirement I performed with the Northwest Wind Quintet and the Spokane (Washington) Symphony. I have performed in the United States, England, France and Germany. My principal teachers have been Otto Eifert, Richard Lottridge, William Waterhouse, Maurice Allard and Gilbert Audin. My students are members of many orchestras and music faculties both in the U.S. and abroad |
